A rich and layered monochromatic interior, adventurous clients and a prime location overlooking the Pacific ocean - breaking away from the predictable coastal palette…the completed interior presents as a sculptural and textural wonderland peppered with hints of unexpected playful artwork and fearless furniture selections, whilst seamlessly integrating the outdoors within.
Reconfiguring and returning gravitas to this classic beachside home, in collaboration with Building Designer Georgina Price, the design references the 1980s era, while overcoming the disparity between the original and its revamped spaces. The relocation of the dining space to the centre of the ground floor and the creation of bespoke joinery, give heart to the home. Its engagement with the Noosa National Park has also been addressed with a new balcony, defined doors and windows, all without compromising the original architectural bones.
